Shoot Plan

When filming shots for my opening scene, there will be different locations which will create interest for the audience. For example, there will be shots which are shot in front of a green screen. If these are in need of re-filming I will be at an advantage due to being able to easily replicate the lighting conditions and the silhouette movements.

The shots that I am going to be filming outside will be extremely hard to replicate. Even small factors such as different weather conditions and minuscule changes to characters hair can be very noticeable when watching a film. If my audience was to notice that I have filmed the scenes on different days, the effect of continuity would be ruined. However, the shots that are in past opening scenes of films of this genre show different locations with different weather conditions and slightly different hairstyles and clothing items. I think if i was to include this very subtly I would be able to create a very authentic feel to the film.

I plan to shoot the individual shots over multiple days over a certain period of time to give the impression that the opening scene includes past highlights of the characters adventures with each other. I am doing this as past introductions to these types of film/TV series always involves their best moments while sometimes still containing some sort of shoreline.
